If Only For A Moment – A fleeting moment with a story

FULL – not taking any more bookings

By Fion Soh | In Mandarin 普通话

Fion Soh will present her work (in mandarin) started photography in year 2015, mostly taking documentary photographs.

Street photography began to capture her attention, simply because it records everyday lives in the public places. Additionally, it also requires sensitivity and persistence to capture a splendid moment.

A quote that I strongly believed in for a long time is “If Only For A Moment – A fleeting moment with a story”.  And somehow this story is able to touch the viewer’s heart.

Fion Soh

There she goes

By Beatrice Morel and Kerryn Salter

Beatrice Morel and Kerryn Salter are two photographic artists who explore constant movement and fluidity in female expressions. Their recent project, “There She Goes” wants to highlight how photography can help to express emotions without words, process complex feelings, and deliver a perceptible sense of relief.

The juxtaposition of their art also references the systemic dismissal of female emotions and the societal double-standards imposed on women who are oftentimes criticised for polarising ends of certain feelings or actions.

A showcase to celebrate the beauty of feeling deeply and the agency to validate and appreciate one’s full, colourful spectrum of emotions, however they might be experienced and expressed.
